Utah Lake Management Fellowship
Duration: 10 to 12-weeks, beginning around end of April
Contract, Seasonal Position, $10,000 or $12,000 depending upon duration

Job description:
Management Fellows play a vital role in the long-term strategic planning and vision of the Utah Lake Authority. Working under the supervision the executive director, Fellows will conduct advanced research on specific topics in environmental and natural resource management, public policy, and operational efficiency, efficacy, and innovation. Fellows serve as a sounding board to the executive team of the organization, participate in high level discussions, and present findings to the ULA governing board.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited MPA, MBA or MPP program.
- Experience in advanced research in environmental and natural resource management, and/or public policy.
- Experience in operational efficiency, efficacy and innovation.
Skills:
- Facility with qualitative research skills (e.g., semi-structured, and open-ended interviews) for management and public policy research
- Strong decision making
- Strong communication
- Project management
- Qualitative research experience strongly preferred
- Background in quantitative analysis welcome
