Ready Hands
The Utah Lake Authority invites everyone of all ages to join our ongoing volunteer team. Sign up, and we’ll match your unique skills and availability with the right opportunities, ensuring your contributions benefit Utah Lake. Partner with the Utah Water Watchers, a statewide, public water quality monitoring program that engages volunteers of all ages in water quality education and data collection to examine the health of Utah’s lakes and streams.
Environment
Take action with the ULA’s environmental programs. Participate in the ULA Spring Plantings, where community members come together to plant new growth, ensuring a diverse plant life that supports local wildlife. In addition, our Adopt a Shoreline program invites volunteers to take ownership of the lake’s precious perimeter, engaging in regular clean-ups and conservation efforts to maintain the condition of our beaches and recreational areas safe and clean.
Safety
Boost safety and enjoyment on Utah Lake by volunteering with the ULA and its partner organizations’ safety initiatives. Such as the Life Jacket Loaner Program or the Saratoga Springs Youth Fishing Program. In collaboration with the Coast Guard Auxiliary, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for all lake enthusiasts. By contributing to these programs, you’re not just volunteering; you’re enhancing the overall safety and enjoyment of Utah Lake for everyone.
Wildlife
Join us at Utah Lake for a hands-on wildlife adventure, where you can contribute to vital projects like building duck nests during the breeding season and monitoring bird populations. While current wildlife projects are limited, stay tuned for an expanding array of opportunities to engage with our thriving ecosystem in the future with the ULA or any of our partners.
Events
