The weather is warming in Utah. Ice is thinning. There’s more sunshine, more birds, and Utah Lake users are taking notice.
“The water ski season is getting close,” writes an enthusiastic Scot Chipman. “The ice is starting to break up on Utah Lake: See link.”
Photographer Derrick Lytle has been documenting the change, most recently in a sunrise shoot at the lake. “Utah Lake is surprisingly beautiful,” Lytle says.
Elsha Roberts has been taking in the extra sun while uploading a photo in front of Utah Lake: “How sunny and happy the day was,” Roberts writes.
Bethany, who splits her time between California and Utah, had this to say about a recent jaunt to the lake: “Today, twas real great. Adventured by Utah Lake. And had some bomb laughs!”
Same goes for John Shields, who decided to hit some golf balls on the frozen lake before it’s too late.
Lake users had a lot of fun this winter at Utah Lake. But they seem just as excited for spring.
