    Hello Eric,
I am a 6th grade science teacher at Maple Grove Middle School. I have introduced a lesson to my students where they learn about the problems of Utah Lake. Student learn more about a specific problem then they read about possible solutions that have been proposed to solve the problem. One of the Problems they are investigating is the invasive Phragmite population that is causing harm to Utah Lake shore lines. The articles that I have found and what I’ve had AI generate for me hasn’t help much. I want students to identify how these solutions can be graded by the way they complete criteria and fulfill constraints. We have identified that the criteria using the House Bill 272 and simply identified constraints being time, money, preserving water rights, and preserving native species.

What I am asking for is more information that is simple for 6th grade students to read that provides facts about how much money the on going project for removing phragmites is. Where there any other proposed solutions that got turned down? If so what was the project? How much money was it projected to cost? What was the time frame?

Please let me know if this is something you can help me with or not.

    Thank you
