Come and experience this year’s Utah Lake Festival that will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017, 10am –2 pm at the Utah Lake State Park. You don’t want to miss out on the fun activities that we will have this year including: activities for children, games, sailboat regatta, paddle boarding, and much more. Entrance is free. The Festival helps you experience many activities the lake has to offer and provides opportunity to have a great time with your whole family.
The goals of the Festival are to raise awareness about what has been done to improve Utah lake, promote recreational activities, and educate members of the community about the importance of preserving one of Utah’s greatest natural resources. We will have educational booths that will help increase your knowledge about how to foster the lake’s ecosystems. Artists from the Visual Art Institute in Salt Lake are creating a giant, 40 ft. fish sculpture for the festival. The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium will have an educational station inside the giant fish. You will be able to walk through and learn more about the June Sucker Fish, an endemic species to Utah Lake.
Collect stamps on your Utah Lake Festival punch card to earn prizes by visiting the various education and recreational booths. We will have a drawing to win one of fifteen free registrations ($150 value) to the Paddle Board Summer Camp for youth ages (10-18). Play in the sand, enjoy delicious food from some of Utah’s best food trucks, get out on the water and be part of one of the most anticipated events of the year in Utah County, the Utah Lake Festival.
Join us for a beautiful Saturday at Utah Lake. Engage with your community and bring your whole family to have a great experience.
