As part of our Adopt-the-Shoreline program, the Utah Lake Commission will be coordinating the first annual Utah Lake Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 19th. This day is also International Coastal Cleanup Day. We would like everyone who is interested in volunteering to come help pick up trash around the lake from 9:00 AM until approximately 12:00 PM.
If you are interested in helping, please follow this link to fill out a simple online form. If you would like to volunteer with a group of family, friends, or coworkers, please just have one person fill out the form. We will contact you as the date gets closer with specific details about the cleanup event. We hope to have groups of volunteers at several different locations around the lake.
Volunteers will need to sign a release form. To save time on the cleanup day, please print and sign your form beforehand and bring it with you. Follow this link for the adult volunteer form, and this link for the minor volunteer form. Any volunteers under the age of 12 will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult during all times.
