For the first time, the Utah Lake Commission is hosting a video contest! Since it’s the first time with this type of contest, we are going to keep things simple. Check out the submission rules below, and the prizes too!
Who
YOU! Utah Lake users of all kinds. Boaters, sailors, hunters, anglers, kite boarders, paddle boarders, kayakers, trail runners and the list goes on! We want you to submit videos of you having fun doing your favorite recreational activity at Utah Lake!
What
- A short video (60 seconds or less) of one or more recreational activities at Utah Lake.
- You are allowed to use old footage and clips, but make it cool! (add music, multiple clips stitched together, etc.) *Something like the video below, for example.
- To submit: either upload it in our submission form or post it to Instagram with the hashtag #UtahLakeVideoContest
Where
Utah Lake. No really, anywhere publicly accessible on Utah Lake. **This is a UTAH Lake video contest, not a Utah LAKES video contest. Although videos including other lakes are cool, they are not eligible for this contest.
When
Submissions opened February 15, 2020 at 12:01 AM and close on October 1, 2020 11:59 PM. We will announce winners on or before November 1, 2020.
Why
‘Cause Utah Lake is awesome! We know that there are people who don’t like Utah Lake, but we know YOU are out there too. You use and love Utah Lake, and we want to show off why Utah Lake is such a fun place to play!
