It’s likely that you didn’t know about one of the most convenient launch spots on Utah Lake. The Lindon Marina is tucked behind what was formerly the Geneva Steel property and sits on the land where the Geneva Resort entertained many-a-crowd back in the early 1900s.
We often think of a marina as a one-purpose facility; a place to launch boats. Well, earlier this year, the marina’s management changed hands and many improvements have been made. New owner, Ron Madson, has new, fresh plans for his marina, or perhaps playground might be a better term.
No longer is a boat or wave runner needed to have a lot of fun. Ron has created a new beach, grassy parks, added picnic tables, and keeps the general store well stocked. He’s also invested in kayaks, canoes, paddle boards (a relatively new activity in water sports), and pedal boats. Their rates are very reasonable and make for a fun, unique experience on the lake. If you have a boat and don’t like hauling it back and forth to your home or storing it somewhere offsite, he’s got 120 outdoor storage spaces available for rent as well.
Why don’t you take a minute to visit their newly launched website, and consider taking your family out to experience some of the fun attractions they’re creating!
Utha Lake is really an awesome place for visitors as well as for local residents in United States.
