Earlier this summer, when we were deep into a phragmites removal project, we got word that our contractor, Cross Marine was asked to help figure out a way to get a piano onto the lake. Needless to say, I was a bit curious about why anyone would want to do this…
Well, viral-video producer devinsupertramp went through the permitting process to help William Joseph film his cover of the hit song “Radioactive” by Imagine Dragons, an American alternative rock band with lots of local ties to this area. And, they wanted to do it on our very own Utah Lake!
The following day, I saw a bit of a preview–some footage taken from a cell phone camera. I’ve been anxious to see the results, and I must say, they are stunning! They filmed at different times of the day and night and got some great footage. The video was released on October 14 and already has almost 1.4 million views!
