Three decades ago, after considerable snow and rainfall, severe flooding occurred throughout much of Utah, including Utah Valley.
This year’s Utah Lake Festival scheduled for Saturday, June 4, has been canceled due to high water levels and flooding at the Utah Lake State Park.
Ten years ago, the total population of the June Sucker fish (found only in Utah Lake) was fewer than 1,000.
