Shelby Kozak

Shelby Kozak has 10 years of experience in program funding and management for both private and governmental programs. Most recently before she joined Utah Lake Authority, she spent 5 years in Washington, DC, obtaining a master’s degree from George Washington University and working as a consultant for various programs focused on economic development and environmental sustainability. Some of her projects have focused on environmental issues such as regenerative agriculture of potato farms in the Andes mountains, increasing sustainable eco tourism at Lake Malawi, and water conservation and sanitation in rural communities of Haiti.
Shelby is a native of Utah County and grew in Orem with a family of avid sportsmen who enjoy boating, fishing and hunting on Utah lake. She is excited to continue the tradition with her own 2 children.
