Kelly Cannon-O’Day

Kelly’s background in in journalism, where she worked for 13 years as a reporter, web manager, news planner and editor. Before joining the Utah Lake Authority, she worked as the Community Engagement Editor at The Salt Lake Tribune.

Kelly was born and raised in Provo, Utah.  She earned a Bachelor’s of Science from Utah Valley University in English Literature and a Master’s of Theology from Gonzaga University. She and her husband are also the favorite aunt/uncle to 12 nieces and nephews.

Kelly’s responsibilities at the Utah Lake Authority include event planning and management, communications, public relations, social media and website management, public information, marketing, community engagement and more.
