Heather McEwen

During her career, Heather has worked in numerous spaces to create
events such as nonprofits, colleges, and corporate companies. Her bachelor’s
degree is in Catering and Event Planning from Brigham Young University-Idaho.

Having been born and raised in Utah, it wasn’t hard to fall
in love with the Utah Lake and wanting to show what it has to offer. Heather
always shares that she got into the event space because she wants to plan
events that make a difference; and Utah Lake Authority gives her that
opportunity.

Heather handles all programs and events for the Utah Lake Authority, not only to spread the word about the lake but also to help keep it clean from litter and trash that collects at the access points.
