Life jackets are life-saving devices and offer enhanced safety while you’re out enjoying various recreational activities on Utah Lake. Our goal is to ensure that each person who recreates on the lake has access to one of these life jackets through our Life Jacket Loaner Program. To build our availability, we’re holding a Life Jacket Drive.
Our Life Jacket Drive
Sep 30 – Oct 7
This drive aims to:
- Collect lightly used life jackets for use in our loaner program at all public marinas at Utah Lake.
- Collect monetary donations to construct stands for storing/displaying the loaner life jackets at the marinas and for purchasing additional life jackets.
Drop life jackets off at:
American Fork Marina
Lindon Marina
Orem City offices
Provo Rec Center
Saratoga City Marina
Utah Lake State Park
Life jackets must:
- Be in good condition
- Be US Coast Guard approved
- Have a legible label on inside
- Have zippers and buckle straps in good condition

We have a number of life jackets in good condition which we would like to donate. We are older and not comfortable driving through the construction in Utah County. We live in Sandy, is there anywhere close to us where we can drop them or could someone pick them up?
Thanks, Sandi! We will have one our staff contact you.
