Attention all aspiring paddleboarders (pictured), kayakers, and canoe-ers. Now is an especially good time to try said sports on Utah Lake.
Lindon Marina is running a special promotion on paddleboard, kayak, and canoe rentals. Each can be rented and launched from the marina’s sandy beach—no transporting necessary.
The cost is $10 an hour per paddleboard, kayak, or canoe. Oars and life jackets are included. Two-hour rentals are $15, and there are special rates for large groups and half or full-day rentals. Management of our water resources is critical this year and has been a major concern for the professional and recreational lake users for some years. I wish their was someway to add 5 to 10 ft of water to extend the boating season.
