Kelly Cannon-O’Day

Kelly’s background is in journalism, where she worked for 13 years before joining the Utah Lake Authority. Eight of those 13 years were spent at The Salt Lake Tribune where she began as a Web Manager, was promoted to News Planner and ended her time there as the Community Engagement Editor.

Born and raised in Utah, Kelly grew up loving the outdoors through camping and boating with her family. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science from Utah Valley University in English Literature and a Master’s of Theology from Gonzaga University. She and her husband are also the favorite aunt/uncle to 12 nieces and nephews.

Kelly’s responsibilities at the Utah Lake Authority include event planning and management, communications, public relations, social media and website management, public information, marketing, community engagement and more.
