For the uninitiated, there are five public marinas at Utah Lake: Utah Lake State Park in Provo, Saratoga Springs City Marina, American Fork Boat Harbor, Lindon Boat Harbor, and Lincoln Beach at the south end of the lake. To help you get the most of each when considering your next trip to Utah Lake, here’s what you need to know:
Utah Lake State Park, Provo
The largest, most robust, and activity-rich marina (pictured above) is located at 4400 West Center Street in Provo within Utah Lake State Park. Entrances fees are $9 per vehicle, including use of boat ramps, $5 per vehicle with a Utah senior 62+, or $2 per person / bicycle. The park is open from 6 am to 10:00 pm in the summer; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in the winter, and features a little bit of everything the lake has to offer.

Saratoga Springs City Marina
Currently, the Saratoga Springs municipal marina offers limited amenities, including three docks, one boat ramp, and a few pavilions. In the next five years, however, the marina will expand to include additional facilities such as outdoor showers, picnic tables, a fish-cleaning station, walkways and an open grass area. The Marina is located at 200 E. Harbor Parkway.

American Fork Boat Harbor
With recently upgraded docks and a spacious boat ramp, The American Fork Boat Harbor is a great options for Northern Utah County residents. Open from 7 am to dark through Sept. 30, the harbor is located at 6135 N. 6000 West (take 100 West to lake). Entrance fees are $8 per vehicle, $4 senior citizen, and $1 for walk-ins.

Lindon Boat Harbor
Privately owned and operated, The Lindon Boat Harbor is a great launch option for affordability and convenience. Located at 2130 W. 600 South in Lindon, the harbor features two launch ramps, rental slips, picnic tables, and a convenience store. Entrance fees are $5 per vehicle, $2 for walk-ins, and $12 for overnight parking.

Lincoln Beach, Spanish Fork
Second only to Utah State Park in terms of Amenities, Lincoln Beach is well-maintained and a great options for resodemts pf southern Utah County, or any local looking for a sandy beach. Located at 4700 South Lincoln Beach Road, the marina and surrounding area feature large pavilions, boat ramps, restrooms, covered picnic tables, camping, and of course, an inland beach. Entrance is free, but there is a charge for overnight camping and pavillion rental.
